According to the Mirror, Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has challenged Paul Pogba to showcase his leadership skills for the club.

The 27-year-old is close to a much-awaited return since being sidelined by injury last December. The United number six could feature tonight as the Red Devils kick-off against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

An experienced player, the Frenchman has won trophies both domestically and internationally. With United still having much to play for, Solskjaer has urged Pogba to bring all that experience to the fore. (h/t Mirror)

“Paul has had a very good career, he’s a World Cup winner, and we want to have that leadership on the pitch as well.”

A matchwinner on his day, Pogba showcased his ability at the grandest stage in the final of the 2018 World Cup.

Ahead of the match against Croatia, he gave a rousing speech that inspired his teammates. He walked the talk on the pitch as he scored to lead France to their second world crown.
