Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba available for Tottenham Hotspur clash
According to the Standard, Manchester United stars Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba have been declared fit to face Tottenham Hotspur.
The key duo’s return will be welcome news to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. United still have plenty to play for this season and will need their best players available as the business end approaches.
“If selected Marcus and Paul have been out for a long, long period. They’re available.”
United have no key absentees for their crunch clash against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. The only players missing are Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe. Neither of who would have been expected to start.
Pogba has endured a poor season where his impact has been limited by injuries and a loss of form. With him sidelined since December, Solskjaer could opt against using him from the start on Saturday.
Rashford, on the other hand, is expected to go straight into the starting line-up. The return of our ace will make the forward line more effective.
With Harry Kane also returning to action for Tottenham, it could be a shootout between arguably the two best English strikers right now.
Not only do we face off against former boss Jose Mourinho, but the game in itself is a key clash in the race for top-four.
Tottenham may be some way off us in the table, but with their key players back, they are dangerous on paper. The same was touched upon by Solskjaer, who recognizes the importance of the fixture.
