Paul Pogba unlikely to start against Tottenham Hotspur

Manchester United fans have been waiting for months to watch Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes work their magic in the same team.

With a crunch tie against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, there was no better time to unleash the duo. It not appears that we will have to wait a tad bit longer.

According to the Athletic, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is busy preparing a starting XI that does not include the French superstar.

On the face of it, fans should not be overly worried, given our good run of form in Pogba’s absence. In the midst of an unbeaten run, Bruno Fernandes has taken the league by storm since his January move.

Solskjaer will be wary of disturbing what has been a winning formula so far. With a maximum of 16 matches awaiting United this season, the Norwegian will get opportunities to field his midfield maestros together.

Another playing making his return is Marcus Rashford. Riding on a wave of public goodwill due to his philanthropic activities, the 22-year-old will add bite to the United attack.

Spurs are a team that lacks pace in the heart of the defence. With Japhet Tanganga now injured, Rashford could be back with a bang at the weekend.

It promises to be an intriguing match. Not only will Jose Mourinho be keen to get one over us, but he will also welcome back a number of his injured stars.

Pogba is a Rolls Royce of a player who can change the match single-handedly. With much to play for this season, we need to use him wisely until he is back to full fitness.

As long as United keep winning, fans won’t mind waiting for a little more to watch the dream team in action.
