Twitter reacts as Daniel James completes one year at Manchester United
Manchester United starlet Daniel James completes one year at the club today.
He joined from Swansea City in a deal worth an initial £15million. An under the radar signing, he started his United career with a bang.
The Welshman scored thrice in his first four Premier League games as he instantly shone for the club. Till date, he has made a total of 37 appearances, scoring four goals and assisting seven. (h/t Transfermarkt)
He took to Twitter to celebrate the moment. It could all have been so different had his transfer to Leeds United not gone through.
Instead, that failed dream helped him realize a new one. One at the aptly named Theatre of Dreams.
James has had a tough time of late as he has failed to replicate his earlier success. However, there is enough promise in him to go on and develop into an excellent player.
Hopefully, he will get the ball rolling once football resumes. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at what United fans said about his momentous occasion.
