Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo labels Bruno Fernandes as one of the best he has played with

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has claimed that teammate Bruno Fernandes is one of the best he has ever played with in his career.

Fernandes, like Ighalo, joined Manchester United in January earlier this year from Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon. The midfielder has made a huge impact since arriving, turning around the club’s form and fortunes in the process.

In nine matches, the 25-year-old has produced an impressive return of three goals and four assists.

“He’s one of the best I’ve played with. I played with him at Udinese and you could tell he had the talent, but now he’s different. He has vision, gives good passes and scores goals.”

Ighalo also went on to add that Fernandes is still finding his feet in England and once he is more settled, he will elevate his game even further. (h/t Sky Sports)

He’s still getting used to the Premier League and when he settles down, he’s going to be so good for Manchester United.”

Ighalo himself has been impressive since arriving at United. The Nigerian centre-forward has four goals in eight matches for the Red Devils so far.

There had been concerns surrounding his future at the club, with his loan contract expiring. However, Manchester United have been able to extend his stay till January next year. Hopefully, he continues to contribute in the same way and helps team achieve success in the coming months.
