Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opens up on plans for PL restart
Speaking to the club’s official site, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opened up on the club’s plans for the Premier League retard.
Football is set to return after three months on June 17. United will resume their campaign against Tottenham Hotspur on the 19th in a crucial clash for the top four.
Solskjaer has revealed that the squad has been working on new ideas, ahead of the return. He seeks to find an edge to our gameplan.
The Norwegian is not blinded by the significance of the clash. He believes that focus is key and expects his players to perform against Tottenham.
“The first game is two weeks from today so we need to step up the training and get an edge to our game again.”
He confirmed that the focus in training was to not only come up with new ideas but also perfect the already familiar ones.
“Training has been about recapping what we did well, tweaking maybe one or two things and looking at some new ideas.”
Solskjaer has also urged everyone to look at the bigger picture. With games coming thick and fast, we cannot afford to slack off.
He has also praised the team spirit and has confirmed that morale is high. With much to play for in the remaining fixtures, this is exactly what we would like to hear.
“That’s one of the main things, that we are a team and the team goes before anything else.”

The club is currently on an 11-game unbeaten run. With the likes of Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba back in the reckoning, Solskjaer will be expected to keep the run going.
Fans are excited to see Pogba partner January addition Bruno Fernandes. Given that the Portuguese star was chased by Spurs prior to joining us, the game on June 19th will add that extra spice to an already hot fixture.
