The players have been divided into small groups of four or five and have been doing well. Solskjaer also confirmed that the players have looked sharp and that the morale is high among the squad.

He revealed that the players have continued to work on their fitness while away in self-isolation. A number of his staff have ensured that the squad have kept up their fitness levels, much to the manager’s satisfaction.

Among those back in training are stars Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford. The duo has hardly featured for United this year due to injury. Their return will come as a welcome boost for United as they fight for a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Solskjaer praised his side’s mentality and believes they’re ready to make the step up to full-contact training when it is safe to do so.
