Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expects Manchester United to have an active transfer window

According to the Metro, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opened up on the club’s plans for the upcoming transfer window.

Premier League sides returned to small group training last week. With the competition edging towards a June restart, there is uncertainty over the summer transfer window.

With the current financial crisis, big-money moves may be a thing of the past this window.

Solskjaer has, however, confirmed that the club will be active in the market. United have been heavily linked with big-money moves for Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish.

According to the Norwegian, the club is also looking at other targets. To the relief of United fans, he is also confident of landing them.

“We’ll just have to finish off the season, see where we are and then probably do deals if there are deals to be done.”

Sancho is United’s primary target in spite of his lack of fitness. The 20-year-old has played just 70 minutes over both games since the Bundesliga returned last weekend. It is a testament to his quality that he has still managed to get an assist in them. (h/t Transfermarkt)
