During a Q&A session with the fans (h/t ManUtd.com), Manchester United star Victor Lindelof opened up on his partnership with summer signing Harry Maguire, claiming that it has been great playing with the Englishman.

Maguire arrived at Manchester United last summer, signing from Leicester City in an £80m deal. In the process, the England international became the world’s most expensive defender.

Since arriving, Maguire has grown into a key player for the Red Devils. He was named the club captain following Ashley Young’s departure in January.

And now, Lindelof has revealed what it is like playing with the England star, during a Q&A session with the fans.

“Well, yeah, it’s been great playing with Harry a lot this season. It’s very important to play a lot of games together and you learn a lot from each other. The more games you play, the better you get as players and so it’s been great as we’ve been helping each other a lot and getting some good results.”

Lindelof and Maguire have started as the centre-back pairing for Manchester United in 26 of our 29 Premier League games. And the pair, collectively, have not made a single error leading to an opposition shot on goal in that time. (h/t WhoScored.com)

However, despite this, there remain some concerns regarding Lindelof’s form this season. This has led to speculations of a summer move for long-term defensive target Kalidou Koulibaly.

It will be interesting to see if the club do invest in a new central defender in the summer.
