Boost for Man United as injured superstar returns to training

Paul Pogba leads teammates out in training session ahead of EPL return

According to the Mirror, Paul Pogba was among a number of Manchester United stars who took part in a public training session at a local park.

Other first-team stars such as Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof, and Andreas Pereira were all in attendance as the club prepares for the resumption of the football season.

The Premier League could resume as early as next month as a part of project Restart. The initial aim of resuming matches on June 12 falls well within the governmental declaration that no professional sport will be held before June 1 at the earliest.

The Red Devils are well within striking distance of the fourth spot, while also alive in the UEFA Europa League and FA Cup. The resumption of the season is to our advantage as the Ole Gunnar Solskjaeer rebuild gathers steam.

United have invested smartly in recent windows. The addition of Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo has helped us rise up the table in recent months.

The return of Pogba marks the first time the Frenchman is available since he was injured last December. The potential of a Pogba-Fernandes partnership in midfield is sure to get United fans going.

With Marcus Rashford also returning to action, we will be well placed to break into the top four. Currently fifth in the table, we are just three points below fourth-placed Chelsea. With nine games to go, it is well within our reach to usurp them.
