The 22-year-old has enjoyed a fine debut campaign at Manchester United. He has produced a solid return of four goals and seven assists in 37 matches across all competitions.

And now, the Wales international has revealed that Juan Mata played a key role in helping him settle down in his early days. (h/t Daily Mail)

“When I first met him, he came and sat next to me in the changing room and said, ‘I know it’s a big move for you.

“If you need anything here is my number and if you ever need to talk about anything I’m here.’ That was obviously great for me.”

James also claimed that Mata was one of his biggest inspirations. The 22-year-old further added that he used to idolize the Spanish playmaker when growing up and to be sharing the field with him is surreal. (h/t Daily Mail)
