Evra and Lineage Logistics have pledged to match every pound donated to the campaign, up to £250,000, to support the ‘unsung heroes’ such as cleaners, porters and security staff (h/t MEN).
Money raised through the fundraiser will be donated to the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity and The Hillingdon Hospitals Charity. The former supports ten hospitals of the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Whereas, the latter supports The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Evra is not the first former Manchester United player to do his bit for the community in these challenging times.
