Aaron Wan-Bissaka explains Solskjaer’s role in improvement
Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka has claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been pivotal to his improvement since joining the club (h/t Mirror).
Wan-Bissaka signed for Manchester United from Crystal Palace last summer. The Englishman arrived for a transfer fee of £50m and has been a huge hit at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old has featured in 34 matches across all competitions for our club and has registered two assists. His tackling and defensive nous have made him a huge fan favourite at Old Trafford.
Wan-Bissaka put in one of his finest displays against rivals Manchester City. The 22-year-old completely took Raheem Sterling out of the equation as Manchester United won 2-0.
The full-back has been improving with each game at United. And the youngster has credited the backroom staff and Solskjaer for his growth and development (h/t Mirror).
“Since day one at United, I’ve seen that Ole’s a manager who knows what he wants. He wants every single player to improve and he’s given us all a steer on what we need to improve.”
Wan-Bissaka had come in for some criticism due to his inability to impact play in the attack. However, the 22-year-old has improved that aspect of his game recently.
The youngster revealed that Solskjaer had asked him to express himself and raid forward with confidence, which has resulted in the improvement in his game (h/t Mirror).
