Aaron Wan-Bissaka credits Marcus Rashford for making him a better player
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been one of Manchester United’s best signings in recent times.
The 22-year-old has established himself as the first-choice right-back at the club. A defensively strong player, Wan-Bissaka has gone from strength to strength this season.
Eyebrows were raised when United spent £50million on a player who had made just 46 first-team appearances up to that point. It is fair to say that those voices have been snuffed out by now. (h/t Mirror)
Participating in a Q and A session on the club’s website (h/t Mirror), the defender revealed that Marcus Rashford has been his toughest opponent in training.
“He’s just so unpredictable. When I first joined United and came up against him in training, he was doing things that I just really didn’t expect.”
Wan-Bissaka has labelled Rashford as a tricky player to come up against due to his ability to do the unexpected.
Going up against our number 10 has been a learning curve for Wan-Bissaka. He feels that having to put up with such troubles have improved him as a player.
The youngster also showcased that his defensive nous isn’t just limited to the field. He deftly answered a question on who among Rashford and Daniel James is faster.
“They’re both rapid”
He has named James as the quicker one over long distances while Rashford trumps the Welshman over short ones.
