Man United target Kai Havertz set to join Bayern Munich in summer

German sensation Kai Havertz has decided to snub Mancheester United in favour of a summer transer to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. This is according to a report from Sky Sports Germany (h/t Daily Star).

Havertz has established himself as one of the most sought-after young midfielders across Europe. The Bayer Leverkusen starlet had been in fine form for the Bundesliga outfit prior to the season getting suspended.

The 20-year-old Havertz has produced a fine return of 10 goals and 8 assists from 34 matches across all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen in the 2019/20 season so far.

This has led to him attracting interest from a number of clubs across Europe, including us and our bitter rivals Liverpool (h/t Daily Star).

Leverkusen manager Peter Bosz has already admitted previously that the club would find it hard to keep hold of the midfielder in the summer transfer window (h/t Daily Star).

“He can’t be held next summer. That will be a transfer of 100million.”

Bayern Munich are also interested in landing the 20-year-old with Hansi Flick keen on bolstering his midfield unit. The Bavarians see Havertz as the ideal candidate, and the player too is intent on moving to the Allianz Arena (h/t Daily Star).
