Man United make Jadon Sancho transfer priority

Manchester United made Jadon Sancho their transfer target despite his £120million asking price, according to Sport1 (h/t Express).

The English winger has been a revelation at Borussia Dortmund and has broken into the national team too.

Sancho joined the Bundesliga giants after coming through the ranks at Manchester City, and the Citizens are keen on a reunion.

However, the report claims that United are confident of landing their man, a year after missing out on him. The gaffer has been impressed by the rising talent. However, United tried to land him last season but failed to do so.

The report adds that we went with Daniel James instead, and the young winger hasn’t fared all that poorly either. The Red Devils are willing to offer Sancho £400,000-a-week in wages and also the famous No. 7 shirt (h/t Express).

A great fit for United

The asking price for the 20-year-old is steep but Sancho has proved his ability with his performances on the pitch.

The Englishman has 14 goals and 15 assists from 23 Bundesliga appearances this season. Sancho also has a couple of goals and a couple of assists in the Champions League.

The youngster can also play in several positions up top and would provide a lot of pace to our attack. Having Daniel James on one side and Sancho on the other could lead to a lot of problems for the opposition.

Sancho also has his best years ahead of him and spending on him might be a good move for the future too. United need to make some smart signings in the upcoming transfer window, and Sancho would be an excellent addition to the team.
