Manchester United can sign Jadon Sancho if they qualify for the UCL

According to The Daily Mirror (h/t Daily Mail), Manchester United will have to battle Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of English wonderkid Jadon Sancho.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a prolific campaign in Germany and has scored 17 goals and 19 assists in 35 appearances this season.

Sancho is Europe’s most in-demand attacking player. United lead a list of clubs that include the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich apart from PSG.

The report goes on to claim that the Red Devils’ chances of securing his signature, however, rest on their ability to secure Champions League qualification for next season.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side are currently three points off Chelsea in fourth and are currently in good form going into the final stretch of the season.

United are also heavy favourites to qualify for the last eight of the Europa League following a 5-0 away victory in the first leg of the last-16 tie against LASK.

Finances should not be an issue, with United being able to match their rivals’ offers. Dortmund are believed to be holding on to their valuation of £120million fee in order to sign off on a deal.
