Manchester United are keen on five impressive La Liga talents

Manchester United are keeping tabs on five impressive La Liga players. The United scouts were in Spain to watch them in action last Sunday according to El Diario Vasco (h/t Express)

United representatives were in attendance as Real Sociedad defeated Valencia 3-0. The objects of interest for the Red Devils were the Valencia duo Ferran Tores and Carlos Soler and Sociedad trio of Martin Odegaard, Alexander Isak and Willian Jose.

With United already in huge financial debt and with the recent signing of Bruno Fernandes, Woodward can’t afford to throw his cheque book around for big money players. Signing these youngsters would be ideal for the club as it will help reduce the pressure on top of rising issues like the Sponsorship deal with Addison Global who are supposed to pay around £12 million to the club. The company and United have filed a court case against them in order to recover the money that is supposed to be paid.

A winger who can play on either flank, Torres has enjoyed a promising season at Los Ches. The 19-year-old has garnered five goals and six assists in 34 appearances this season.

His 23-year-old teammate Carlos Soler also has caught United’s attention after a string of fine performances. predominantly playing on the right side of midfield, Soler has racked up 24 appearances while scoring three goals this season.

The report goes on to say that the duo will set United back £81 million. Torres is valued £36 million while Soler commands a higher amount of £45 million.

Apart from the pair from Valencia, United are keeping an eye on Norwegian sensation Martin Odegaard. The youngster, still only 21 has enjoyed a resurgence of sorts on loan at Real Sociedad.

The Norwegian has scored seven goals and eight assists in 25 appearances for Sociedad as he aims to resurrect his career after being on the fringes at Real Madrid.

Once considered to be one of the best upcoming talents, the 21-year-old looks to be delivering on his promise away from the scrutiny on the Santiago Bernabeu.
