Luke Shaw speaks about Bruno Fernandes’ impact off the field

According to a report by Daily Express, Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has made quite an impact off the field as well.

Left-back Luke Shaw recently spoke of the Portuguese’s effects on the training ground. In an interview with MUTV (h/t Daily Express), the Englishman said:

“He’s had a massive impact. He’s only been here for such a short time but it feels like he’s been here for a while.”

Shaw went on to hail Fernandes’ leadership skills as well. He said that Fernandes was a leader at Sporting and hoped that the midfielder would bring that attribute to help United as well, on and off the pitch.

It is great to see that Fernandes is starting to make a positive impact not just on the pitch but off it as well.

Signing him was no cakewalk and kudos to the United hierarchy for pulling off a deal. His presence has already uplifted our performances, evident from the recent wins against Chelsea and Watford.

The Red Devils have lacked a leader for the longest time but Fernandes is showing all the right signs.
