Man United provide contract updates for Chong and Angel Gomes
According to a report by Manchester Evening News, Manchester United have provided an update regarding fresh contracts for starlets Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes.
Both youngsters will be out of contract at the end of the season and could potentially leave for free. The report, however, claims that the club are in talks with them.
Chong and Gomes have tasted first-team action on quite a few occasions this season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has heavily relied on youth talents and the duo has benefitted from his decision.
The report adds that Solskjaer heaped the praise on the two youngsters and that contract talks are underway.
Losing the two academy starlets would represent a big blow to Solskjaer’s youth-oriented management style and contract talks is a good sign.

Whenever given opportunities this term, Gomes and Chong have stepped up to the plate. Their adventures with the first-team so far deserve to be rewarded with a new contract. Hence, United must offer fresh terms to both players at the earliest.
