Manchester United to treble Christian Eriksen’s wages if he joins from Tottenham

The Mirror reports that Manchester United are willing to treble Christian Eriksen’s wages to £240,000-a-week in hopes of the Dane joining the club.

The midfielder is out of a contract at the end of next season at Tottenham, and the report claims that he has not committed to a new deal with the London club.

The report adds that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken with Ed Woodward regarding his summer transfers, and Eriksen is part of his plans.

Eriksen is interested in a move to Real Madrid and wants to play under Zinedine Zidane, but the report adds that Real are looking at Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard in the summer.

Daniel Levy would want a huge fee

The 27-year-old Eriksen is one of the best playmakers in the Premier League and Levy would want a huge fee for the Dane, according to the report.

Eriksen will have just one year left of his deal and the Mirror claims that United might have to pay £95million to sign the Dane.

United have done well under Solskjaer since the Norwegian took over, and saw off West Ham 2-1 at Old Trafford in their previous game.
