Barcelona are considering a bid of around £87m at the end of the season for Manchester United’s star striker Marcus Rashford, according to the Birmingham Mail.
The 21-year-old has been in great form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has 12 goals in all competitions this season prior to the game against Liverpool on Sunday.
The English youngster had a tough time under Jose Mourinho, however, the report adds that Barcelona are looking at a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
The former Liverpool striker is 32 and Rashford could do a great job for any club in the world. The report adds that Rashford has a contract till 2020 at United but we could extend that by another year.
On the road to greatness
Rashford has been one of the stars for the future ever since he broke into the United side, and hopefully, his progress continues under Solskjaer.
There is no reason for us to sell the 21-year-old even if Barcelona are willing to pay mammoths amount for the Englishman.
Rashford seems happy as to how things have progressed under our new manager and his form is showing that.
The Norwegian has turned things around for us this season, and it will be interesting to see what he can achieve before the end of the campaign.
