The Sun reports that Manchester United are to discuss a move for Nikola Milenkovic as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward discuss the deal.

The report adds that the Fiorentina defender has been tracked by the Red Devils and could cost £45million. Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also interested in the 21-year-old centre-back, and the report claims Woodward is certain of clinching a deal in the January window.

The Serbian has been impressive for the Serie A side in recent years and United need to bring a quality defender into the side. The Red Devils are pushing for a top-four place and have won every game under interim manager Solskjaer.

The latest victory came over Reading in the FA Cup but we face a real test this weekend against Tottenham. Mauricio Pochettino has made Spurs into one of the best sides in England and hopefully, we can pick up 3 points as we travel to Wembley.

There are some concerns about our defence at the moment, with Phil Jones and Victor Lindelof playing as the first-choice pair, however, it has been a struggle for us to keep clean sheets this season.

The Red Devils have conceded 32 goals in 21 games, but our recent form has seen us close the gap on Chelsea to just six points.

The Blues hold the final Champions League spot at the moment but it is possible for us to overtake them. For us to be successful in the future, Milenkovic would be a great signing.
