Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on Bournemouth’s Josh King, according to the Sun. The 26-year-old Norwegian attacker has five goals and two assists for the Cherries this season and is valued at £25million, as per the report.

King spent a few years at Old Trafford and Solskjaer worked with the current Bournemouth star a few years ago. The report adds that the new manager would have a say in the winter transfers and King interests Solskjaer.

United will have competition for the 26-year-old as Tottenham are also keeping tabs on the Cherries star and the report adds that Eddie Howe does not want to lose King.

The forward has been impressive for Bournemouth ever since they gained promotion to the Premier League, and could be a cheap signing in the winter window.

Paul Pogba of Manchester United

The Norway international knows the Premier League and could take his game to another level at United. It will be interesting to see how we manage our current crop of players as the new man at the helm started with an impressive 5-1 win over Cardiff City.

United looked sharp in the final third and dominated the Welsh side with Paul Pogba returning to the line-up.
