Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford has emerged as a major target for Italian giants Juventus, according to the Times (h/t ESPN).
The English youngster was a substitute in United’s 2-1 win over the Old Lady in the Champions League, but has found starts hard to come by under Jose Mourinho.
The 21-year-old has a couple of goals to his name this season, however, he hasn’t performed to the best of his abilities.
The report adds that Juventus are doing background checks on the player and are compiling a “dossier” on the Englishman.
Rashford has a contract at Old Trafford till 2020 but the report claims that the 21-year-old wants assurances that he will grow and develop at United.
The Englishman hasn’t had the greatest of seasons under the manager, and his development seems to have stunted in the previous seasons.
The striker seems to be used much better when he plays for England and has four goals for the Three Lions in the Nations League and friendlies this season.
Losing Rashford would be a blow as the Englishman is one of the brightest players in the country. We don’t seem to be getting the best out of him, however, regular starts could help his growth.

Another problem for the Englishman is that he doesn’t have a fixed position at Old Trafford. Mourinho has played him wide right and wide left while he has started as a central striker in a few games.
