Manchester United got a full week’s rest as they prepare to take on Bournemouth in the Premier League. The Red Devils beat Everton 2-1 in their previous game and seem to be getting the right results in recent weeks under Jose Mourinho.

Bournemouth have been one of the surprise packages this season and actually sit three points above us in sixth place.

Playing Eddie Howe’s team away is never easy, but the Cherries did feature in a Carabao Cup game in midweek.

United need to take advantage of possibly tired legs on Saturday, and here is our predicted line-up for the clash.

David de Gea (GK)

De Gea might find it difficult to keep clean sheets for Manchester United, but he is still our best keeper.

Ashley Young

Ashley Young (RB)

Young has been great over the past couple of weeks, and there is no reason to drop the Englishman from the team.

Chris Smalling (CB)

It is a huge risk playing Smalling in the team, as we saw against Everton when he gave the penalty away. However, he might be the best defender we have at the moment.

Victor Lindelof (CB)

The Swede is preferred as Smalling’s partner, and hopefully, will perform well against the Cherries.

Luke Shaw (LB)

The Englishman has turned his United career around and should continue starting games for us.

Fred (CM)

The Brazilian hasn’t started many games for us this season but should keep his place after doing relatively alright against Everton.

Nemanja Matic (CM)

Matic has been average this week but should keep his place as Marouane Fellaini is out with an injury.

Paul Pogba (CM)

Pogba hasn’t been great in recent weeks but he is doing a decent job for the midfield. He has to be at his best if we are to beat Howe’s men.

Juan Mata (RW)

The Spaniard has been excellent over the past month or so, and should keep his spot in the starting XI.

Anthony Martial Manchester United

Anthony Martial (LW)

Martial is on fire at the moment, and it makes no sense to drop him as he scored in our last three games.

Marcus Rashford (ST)

Although Rashford hasn’t been banging the goals in, Mourinho could stick with the Englishman up front instead of Romelu Lukaku.
