Anthony Martial was the X-Factor when Manchester United beat Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday. The Red Devils seem to have turned a corner in the Premier League, having picked up seven points from their last three games.
Martial has been one of the key players in those positive performances. The French striker scored in the 3-2 win over Newcastle, grabbed a brace against Chelsea and was excellent against Everton as well.
The 22-year-old won us a penalty and scored a brilliant goal to help the team go 2-0 ahead before Gylfi Sigurdsson pulled one back for the Toffees via a spot kick. However, the match-winning goal was from the right foot of the in-form Frenchman.
It is the kind of performance we expected to see from the forward when he joined the Red Devils from Monaco in 2015. The upswing in his form certainly caught the attention of many supporters, and here are some of their reactions on Twitter.
