Manchester United are likely to wait until the end of the season before they decide to replace Jose Mourinho, according to the Express.

Mourinho gave himself some time after a recent upswing in results. However, the report claims that his long-term future at Old Trafford is a doubt.

The Red Devils beat Newcastle prior to the international break, despite trailing 2-0 at home. Mourinho’s men produced a great performance at Stamford Bridge and were close to winning all three points until Ross Barkley’s 96th-minute equalizer.

The record English champions then lost to Juventus in the Champions League and the report adds that the Juve manager is one of two candidates United are interested in.

Massimiliano Allegri is contracted till 2022 at the Italian giants, and Arsenal and Chelsea tried to lure him earlier too, as per the report.

Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte

The Italian has done well with the Old Lady but has lost two Champions League finals with them. The other name on the list is Antonio Conte.

The former Chelsea man isn’t managing any club at the moment but the report claims Real Madrid and AC Milan are interested in signing the Italian.

Conte has experience of managing in the Premier League and lifted the title in his first season at Chelsea.
