Juventus have ruled out a move to re-sign former player Paul Pogba from Manchester United. The Frenchman joined United from the Turin based club in 2016 and hasn’t refused a transfer out of the club, as per the Guardian.

Fabio Paratici, Juventus’ sporting director, was quoted by the Guardian as saying:

“We love Paul Pogba, we’ve a fantastic relationship with him but we’ve never thought about his return at Juventus and we’re not going to think about it.”

Juventus certainly were busy in the transfer window as they signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. The Old Lady have won all their games in the league and lead by by six points already.

Pogba and Jose Mourinho have had their issues this season with the manager stripping the player of his vice-captain’s duty a few weeks ago.

The midfielder played some games as the captain of the club when the season began, but his performances in most of the games have been below par.

The Frenchman also had a veiled dig at our style after the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers, as he wanted the team to attack more while playing at Old Trafford.

Mourinho, for his part, has been under immense pressure to get United going. The Red Devils were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Derby and have lost three of their Premier League games, so far.

United needed a last-minute winner from Alexis Sanchez to see off Newcastle United, but Pogba didn’t play well in that clash either.
