Manchester United have confirmed that Luke Shaw has withdrawn from the England side for the upcoming international break.
A release from the club did not reveal the nature of Shaw’s injury but they were hopeful he could play against Chelsea on 20th October.
“It remains to be seen if Shaw will be available for the Reds’ anticipated return to action on Saturday 20 October, against Jose Mourinho’s former club Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.”
Shaw has been one of our stars in an underwhelming season and has become the No.1 left-back at the club.
The Englishman scored against Leicester City on the opening day of the season and has an assist to his name as well.
The 23-year-old played the entire 90 minutes in our 3-2 win over Newcastle United and a number of United fans were alright with the player’s withdrawal.

Just when everything was going so well & playing brilliantly well for us but just really hope it’s an injury that won’t keep him out much longer than the Int’l break.
Speedy recovery mate
