Manchester United got a much-needed win over Newcastle United thanks to a last-minute goal from Alexis Sanchez.

United was down 2-0 within the first 10 minutes but rallied back with strikes from Anthony Martial and Juan Mata.

Another player who was on the pitch was Romelu Lukaku and the Belgian spoke to MUTV after the game.

The Belgian thanked the fans for the support before adding that Sanchez needed that goal. Lukaku said that he wanted to be in the shoes of the Chilean and understood how important the win was for the club.

The former Everton man has just four goals for us this season in all competitions and hasn’t looked great in a number of the games.

The 25-year-old was happy that United were going into the international break with a win, and added that he didn’t like losing.

Lukaku, like most of the United players, has struggled to perform this season and some of the fans weren’t letting him off the hook.
