Alexis Sanchez was furious after being excluded from the team that faced West Ham over the weekend, according to the Mirror.

Manchester United lost the game 3-1 at London Stadium after another poor showing. The Chilean, who is earning a whopping £500,000-a-week, travelled with the team but wasn’t part of the 18-man squad.

The report adds that Jose Mourinho is facing another problem with another star player after his issues with Paul Pogba.

The French midfielder is no longer the vice-captain at the club while the Chilean has told everyone that he was agitated and angry at not playing. (Mirror)

The report further states that the player even spoke to former Arsenal player Lucas Perez in the tunnel and there is a belief that he regrets joining the Red Devils in the January window.

The 29-year-old is yet to score for the team this season and has started just four games in all competitions.

Some reports from Chile (h/t Mirror) further claim that the manager criticized Sanchez’s form in front of the United players before the game on Saturday.

Sanchez is one of the top stars at the club. If he doesn’t play well, questions will be directed either at him or the manager.

It is frustrating to see the team failing to live up to expectations. Unless drastic changes take place, we might have a few more tough months ahead of us.
