The Red Devils were knocked out of the competition by the lower league side on penalties and Sergio Romero picked up a red card as well.

United have been poor this season and already sit eight points behind leaders Liverpool after six games. However, a win against West Ham should relieve some of the pressure since Liverpool could drop points as they travel to Chelsea.
