“Will it help the players play good football?”, “That is awful” – Some Manchester United fans are unimpressed with 2018/19 away kit

Manchester United introduced their away kit for the season which features a pink colour scheme.
The Red Devils uploaded an image of the jersey on Twitter and shared that the kit would be available from 13th September onwards.

ESPN added that the pink kit is a homage to a former newspaper “The Football Pink”. The report adds that the paper was often published an hour after the final whistle for fans to catch up on the action.

However, the jersey did bring out a number of upset fans regarding our performances in recent weeks. Manchester United were beaten 3-0 at home by Tottenham and the fans were quick to share their frustration related to the season.

Some fans called for a change in our playing style, a few called for sackings and a section of the supporters didn’t like the timing of the announcement.
