Jose Mourinho walked out of his press conference after the 3-0 loss at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur. The Manchester United manager demanded respect from the journalists as he compared his achievements to the other Premier League managers.

The BBC reports that this was Mourinho’s biggest defeat at home, marking the first time the manager had lost two of his first three league games.

Mourinho seemed upset at the journalists and ended the conference saying:

“I won more Premierships alone than the other 19 managers together.

“Three for me and two for them.

“Respect, respect, respect man.”

Tottenham scored in the 50th minute from a Harry Kane header and a brace from Lucas Moura compounded our misery.

United had a couple of great chances to score and but they were spurned by Romelu Lukaku.

Mourinho, however, spoke about the support given from the fans after the game. The manager highlighted our loss against Sevilla last season in the Champions League and stated that the team were booed deservedly.

The former Real Madrid manager, however, added that the players were applauded this time despite losing 3-0. Mourinho then went on a tirade as he compared the number of Premier League titles he has won, before leaving the conference.

The United manager certainly is under some stress as we are six points behind the Premier League leaders at such an early stage.

The team hasn’t played great football since the season began and we have to win our next clash which is against Burnley.

Our first-half performance was positive and we should build on that. Hopefully, a string of victories will close the lead at the top.
