Jose Mourinho’s latest press conference was short and to the point as Manchester United prepare for a clash against Tottenham.

United lost their last game against Brighton & Hove Albion with our defence not performing to its best ability either.

Mourinho started that match with Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly as the centre-backs and the manager was asked if the pair had developed to his liking.

The United manager was quoted by the Manchester Evening News as saying:

“I don’t analyse with you my players.”

The manager was further asked about Tottenham and if he was impressed by Mauricio Pochettino.

“I’m not going to comment”, was the reply.

Mourinho wanted the side to “play well and win” and not make any mistakes. The manager gave a short reply when asked how the team have played this season.

“I feel we played well against Leicester and we won, I felt we played bad against Brighton and we lost.”

The report from the Manchester Evening News claimed that Nemanja Matic and Antonio Valencia had returned to training but Mourinho wasn’t clear about the pair playing against Spurs on Monday.

The manager was asked about his relationship with Ed Woodward but claimed there are no problems between the pair.

Mourinho spoke about Pogba’s comments after the Brighton but the manager didn’t provide an explanation for the same and passed the buck onto the Frenchman.

“Paul told, has to answer by his words, if you want any explanation about Paul’s words you must get him and ask him.”

Mourinho’s responses might have been to the point but we will have to play our best football if we are to win against Pochettino’s men.
