Sevilla are interested in signing an attacker and Anthony Martial is on their wish list, according to Marca (h/t Express).

The French forward played in our 3-2 loss against Brighton & Hove Albion but the Express claims he has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho. There were problems when the French attacker left our pre-season early to attend the birth of his child.

The report claims that Sevilla are also looking at Germany’s Julian Draxler. The former Wolfsburg forward is surplus to requirements at Paris Saint-Germain, as per the report.

The problem with Sevilla wanting Martial is that they want to take him on loan and with Mourinho not able to sign a replacement, the deal might not take place, according to the Express.

The report also claims that Chelsea and Tottenham were interested in the former Monaco man but the the Premier League window is closed.

Martial’s agent added fuel to the fire by claiming that the player wanted to leave Old Trafford in June according to the Express.

The Frenchman did struggle for goals last season and his performances weren’t the best either. The former Monaco man failed to make it to the France World Cup squad too.

Selling or loaning Martial would not make a lot of sense since we cannot bring a replacement into the club.

United haven’t started the season well and Martial can be the player to provide a spark in the attack for the rest of the campaign if he plays to his potential.
