Paul Pogba will receive a bonus of around £3.4million he remains at Manchester United until the end of the month, according to the Metro.

The report adds that Pogba has been linked with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona. The player’s relationship with manager Jose Mourinho is also said to be at an all-time low, as per the Metro.

Barcelona are keeping an eye on the midfielder’s situation at Old Trafford and the report adds that the Catalan club could move for the player given that United cannot add players in this transfer window.

The bonus of £3.4million is due to a clause in his contract. The Metro adds that United do not wish to sell Pogba this summer and they believe the Frenchman is upset at Mourinho’s comments during the World Cup.

United paid a fee of £89m for Pogba in 2016 when they signed him from Juventus and Mino Raiola received around £15m for the transfer (h/t Metro).

The French midfielder scored in our 2-1 win over Leicester City and captained the side in our first game of the season.

Pogba, however, didn’t help his cause as he was quoted by the Metro after the win against the Foxes:

“There are things I can say and there are things that I cannot say, otherwise I will get fined”

It will be interesting to see how Pogba performs in the next game against Brighton. Hopefully, he leads us to another win.
