Chelsea star Willian has stated that he hopes to work with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho in the future. However, he did claim that he was happy at Stamford Bridge while speaking to ESPN.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Barcelona throughout the summer, as per ESPN.

Willian was speaking to ESPN Brazil as he opened up about how often he communicates with Mourinho too.

“Mourinho is the best manager I’ve ever worked with. We have a good relationship, we are friends.

“Sometimes we talk, we text, we send messages to each other via WhatsApp. He is a great manager, I really enjoyed working with him. I hope I can work with him again someday.”

The Brazilian was also quick to add that he did not know if there have been any official bids for him from United. Willian did suggest that his agent is in contact with Mourinho all the time but the Portuguese manager does not call the Brazilian, only texts him.

“But I am very happy at Chelsea, I want to stay in the club. I also like living in London, it is an amazing city, and my family is well adapted. So yeah, I intend to stay at Chelsea.”

The attacker did finish by suggesting that he is happy at the Bridge and wants to remain at the club, which would be a bit of a blow for us. As things stand, we could truly utilize a player of his calibre ahead of the new term.
