Manchester United star wants his brother to arrive at Old Trafford – report

Romelu Lukaku has turned agent as he has spoken to Manchester United about bringing his brother to Old Trafford, according to Il Messaggero (h/t Express). Jordan Lukaku, 23, is currently playing in Serie A with Lazio and stars either as a centre-back or left-back.

He started just 10 games in the Italian top-flight last season but made 20 other appearances in the competition. He also started 7 games in the Europa League.

The report claims that Jordan is ready to leave the Italian side after falling out with manager Simeone Inzaghi. However, if the other Lukaku is going to join Romelu, that might disappoint West Ham who have also been linked with a move for Jordan.

Jose Mourinho could do with another left-back in the side since Ashley Young and Luke Shaw are the only two options at the moment.

Young is not a traditional left-back and playing another season with the Englishman out of position could be a disaster in the making, even though Young has done pretty well so far.

Shaw, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to be a player that Mourinho trusts and bringing Lukaku in could be a good move as it would increase competition for the left-back slot.

Having the Lukaku brothers playing in the same club would be a great prospect for us. Perhaps the older Lukaku could help the younger one become a better player, especially with Mourinho coaching Jordan next season. Hence, our gaffer must look into the prospect of bringing Jordan to Old Trafford.
