Anthony Martial’s representatives USFA Management have sparked rumours about his future after an Instagram post.
Martial has been linked with a move away from Manchester United as his agent had come out and stated that the former Monaco man would like to play somewhere else next season.
The Frenchman’s form dipped under Jose Mourinho last season and he even missed out on a place in the French squad for the World Cup.
The post on Instagram featured Martial with hashtags such as #wordhard, #talent and #goldenboy but the one that really caught the eye was #manuntd followed by a ‘?’.
Tottenham and Juventus have been linked with a move for the former Monaco man and maybe this could be a ploy from his management to help their client get a move away from the side quickly.
All this is not helping either side and maybe we need to have a proper sitting with the player and his representatives and thrash a deal out.
We should be looking to get as much as we can for the 22-year-old and even though he had an average season for us, he scored 11 goals and provided 7 assists in all competitions for the club.
The 22-year-old is one of the brightest footballers in the world and losing him would be a blow. We might try to convince him to stay but if his management continues putting up stuff like this, it will be tough seeing Mourinho and Ed Woodward being amused by such stunts.
