Jose Mourinho willing to splash £60million on Premier League speed dribbler – report

Jose Mourinho is looking to reunite with Willian and is ready to spend £60million on the 29-year-old. The Daily Mail claims that the Manchester United boss wants to improve the attack and that the Portuguese has been interested in the Brazilian star for a while.

The report also suggests that United had made enquiries for the Brazilian in the winter window but Chelsea were not willing to let go of the forward.

Willian is a part of the Brazil side taking part in the World Cup and also took part in the 1-1 draw against Switzerland, their World Cup opener. The 29-year-old will certainly add a lot of creativity to our attack and will give Mourinho the options.

Willian

Willian is a typical Mourinho player as he does a lot of tracking back and defending. He would fit our playing style at the moment.

The Brazilian scored 13 goals and provided 8 assists for the Blues, despite an average season for the side. The only issue we can find with this transfer is the price being touted for the Brazilian. Spending close to £60million on a 29-year-old doesn’t really make a lot of sense.

Willian would still demand a large amount of money as wages and maybe we would need Ed Woodward to do a bit of his magic and drive the price down for the Brazilian as we look to bring more players for our attack.

We have signed Fred and Diogo Dalot, so it makes sense for us to work on our attack and get the team prepared for the upcoming season.
