“Lukaku is a donkey !!! While Rashford is utter trash” Man United Fans Vent Their Frustration After Disappointing 2-2 Draw

Can anything be more disappointing? We certainly guess not! A performance which was dispiriting to an entirely next level was lost inside the half an hour of the game itself. We might actually fall out of negative adjectives to describe the kind of performance the team delivered.

Apart from Paul Pogba, not even a single Manchester United player showed desire. Jesse Lingard’s last-minute equaliser did ease off the pressure but an underwhelming performance throughout 90 minutes is sure to haunt Jose Mourinho, as well as the fans, tonight. As if that 2-2 draw against Leicester City wasn’t enough, another draw on boxing day has brought Chelsea closer to the second spot.

Should Manchester City manage a victory in their coming fixture – which is a sure shot – the difference between us and the neighbours would stretch to a whopping 15 points, which in all fairness, would be an impossible task to cover given the Citizens’ red-hot form. Call it anything but Mourinho is certainly not the one to blame; the players are.

A clumsy foul right outside the area by Marcos Rojo was a gift for the Clarets, but need to admit, Steven Defour’s free-kick was world class and no keeper in the world could have saved that venom. Furthermore, despite making two changes at the stroke of half-time, United lacked that clinical edge and the major part of the blame must go on the shoulders of Marcus Rashford and a bit to Romelu Lukaku.

By the time, almost every Manchester United fan knows that Lukaku isn’t a big game player and the United were completely looted by the Toffees in terms of the fee they demanded. Marcus Rashford, on the other hand, was of no use as well. His piss poor form that he showcased against Leicester City continued and the youngster wasted; god knows how many opportunities and even wasted United’s run of play with his selfish attempts. Had Anthony Martial been on the bench, Rashford would have been snubbed of early in the second half; such was his display.

Manchester United fans, on their part, are of same belief and this is how reacted to the result:
