“We suspect Martinez is a looserpool fan” Man Utd Fans React To News About Star Man’s Injury

So it has now been confirmed that Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out of United’s next game against Liverpool at Anfield.

How the tables have turned with regards to how Manchester United stand with Fellaini at their disposal is strange. Nevertheless, the Belgium international has been in top form this season, but has been ruled out for three weeks, according to the Telegraph. Fellaini limped off the field in as early as the 29th minute of Belgium’s World Cup qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday.

As per the reports, the midfielder has suffered a knee ligament damage and will take almost three weeks to recover. His injury has undoubtedly come at the wrong time for United given that there is a tough run of fixtures coming up in recent weeks. Also, his injury has left Mourinho short of options as Paul Pogba is already out, and Matic – who has played every single minute in the Premier League, has confessed that he is not 100% fit as well. Having said that, Ander Herrera and Michael Carrick remain Jose Mourinho’s options for the game.

Marouane Fellaini, on his part, did not train with Belgium earlier in the week as he freshly recovered from a slight niggle he sustained against Southampton. Yet, Roberto Martinez decided to field him. Manchester United fans, for all right reasons, have been left furious with Martinez’s decision.

Belgium had already qualified for the World Cup, hence there was no urgency to play Fellaini against Bosnia. But Martinez thought otherwise. Furthermore, there were concerns that Fellaini had torn his cruciate ligament, but fortunately, that isn’t the case. Yet, United fans have completely roasted Martinez for picking a not 100% fit Fellaini.
