Ryan Sessegnon is one of the hottest players in England at the moment and it is no surprise that many Premier League clubs are after his signature. The 16-year-old has helped Fulham to a top six place in the Championship and could be looking for a place in the Premier League next season.

Liverpool have been linked with a move in the summer for the English left-back but the Mirror now claims that Manchester United are also looking to sign the player up.

Luke Shaw seems destined to leave the Red Devils in the summer and while Sessegnon is still young, he has played 30 times in all competitions for Fulham. Sessegnon also has chipped in with seven goals and five assists this season, which is a great return for a left-back in any league.

The former Southampton defender, Shaw, was again injured in the 1-1 draw against Swansea and it seemed that Jose Mourinho was having a pop at him for leaving the match so early with an injury. The other defenders at the club, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo, Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young have all played as left-backs but none of them have impressed a lot in this role.

Sessegnon is one of the highest rated players in England and Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City want him on their books as well. It is expected that a bidding war will take place in the summer for the 16-year-old and Manchester United could shoot themselves right to the top of the pecking order.

The Red Devils had signed Chris Smalling from Fulham a few years ago and could do the same with regards to Sessegnon. The English defender might not have a lot of experience of playing in the Premier League but he is destined for great things and if United do not make a move for him, another Premier League club will in the summer.
