Luke Shaw seems to be surplus to requirements at Manchester United and has been rumoured to be one of the names that will leave the club in the summer. The former Southampton left-back hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye with Jose Mourinho and the manager even had a bit of a pot shot at the defender early on in the season.
There have been a number of clubs that are interested in the player and the latest team is Crystal Palace. The Sam Allardyce led club is certainly flirting with danger and seems to be willing to take risks, which may be down to their jersey sponsors.

United must hold onto Shaw at all costs
Coming back to Old Trafford, the left-back might have had an average season so far but selling him off to Crystal Palace would be a big mistake by the club.
The defender has returned from his horrific injury last season only at the start of this season and it isn’t easy to get back to their best in under a season. Playing under a new manager isn’t easy either and Shaw has already felt the full force of a Mourinho dressing down. He needs to be taken into confidence; after all, he was the best left-back in the country for a while and was easily United’s best player before injury struck him in the Champions League last season.
United too won’t be able to find a quality replacement for their left-back position and they have tried a number of players in that position but Shaw could turn out to be the perfect candidate, given some time.
The Red Devils have seen how Wilfried Zaha has become much better after being sold by the club and letting go of Shaw after just one poor season would be a poor decision by the management and the club.
The defender is only 21-years-old and selling him to Palace or any other club wouldn’t help either party, except the club buying him. Shaw is set for a bright future and only needs a bit of TLC to get back to his best.
