Revenge will be on the cards when Manchester United host Feyenoord in the group stages of Europa League with the Dutch team having beaten the English giants earlier in the tournament. More than revenge, though, it will be huge nervousness and a sense of dread because United’s European campaign is hanging by a thread and a loss to Feyenoord with Fenerbahce winning against Zorya would see United getting knocked out of Europa League for the second season running. United head into the match with only a win in 4 matches but their performances have risen sharply. Dominating opponents now with some sublime attacking football at times, United will look to do the same tonight and Jose Mourinho undoubtedly will field a strong side. They currently stand third in their group with 6 points and a victory will confirm qualification.

Antonio Valencia looks like a revelation and he has been one United player consistently performing at a top, top level. He will start as the right-back with Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo retaining their names in the starting eleven as centre-backs with both Bailly and Smalling sidelined. Matteo Darmian had a great game against Walcott on the weekend and he will be starting as the left back whereas the midfield duo will be Paul Pogba taking the centre-stage with Ander Herrera. The midfield with Carrick involved looked supreme but the veteran might be benched because we doubt he will be able to carry on with two games in a span of 4-5 days. So due to this reason alone, United might as well switch to 4-2-3-1 with either Wayne Rooney or Juan Mata taking the CAM role. Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to the eleven after missing Arsenal game due to suspension and the flanks will be occupied by the pacey yet spicy duo of Anthony Martial and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
