After facing a humiliating defeat against the Dutch side Feyenoord in the opening fixture of the Europa League, the red half of Manchester are now preparing for the Premier League showdown. The Devils are currently fifth on the table with nine points in hand and will be facing Watford this weekend.

Watford’s manager Walter Mazzarri, who have often come across Zlatan Ibrahimovic during their time in Serie A, has claimed the former Paris Saint-Germain striker can be labelled one of the greatest ever players. The 34-year-old striker has four goals to his name so far and will be looking add more to his tally this weekend.

“Ibrahimovic is the type of player I call eternal and immortal,” Mazzarri said in his pre-match press conference.

“I have [coached] against him many times, he can make the difference on the pitch. We will try as we always do with great players but I also want to add that it’s very important to keep in my mind Manchester United are not just about Ibrahimovic.

“[Wayne] Rooney, [Marouane] Fellaini; the whole squad, all of the players. They have a great squad and we have to be careful.”

Many would tag this fixture as an easy one for the Devils, but we cannot deny the fact that United will be stepping onto the field on the back of a defeat, while the Hornets will be hosting the side on the back of a 4-2 win over West Ham United at the London Stadium last weekend.
