Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is set for a move out of the Old Trafford as it has been reported often since the start of the transfer window, however the sad news here is that the player has gone very badly out of favor under new manager Jose Mourinho to the extent that United are ready to let go of the player in an amount less than £2m.

The 32-year-old player joined United in July 2015 from Bayern Munich in £9m deal which would see the player at the Old Trafford for three years. However, the German was never at peace in England which was made worse by his injuries consequently the player managed to make only 31 appearances for the Red Devils.

Schweinsteiger’s huge salary is proving to be a roadblock for his suitors as not many clubs can afford a player of his stature. Juventus seem to be interested in the German but is seen as a second option to their main midfield target, Blaise Matuidi.

Celtic were also rumoured to be in for the 32-year-old, but manager Brendan Rodgers was quick to dismiss that by adding, “I can get you a marquee signing but they’ve got to be able to press and they’ve got to be able to run.”

The player was informed by manager Jose Mourinho that he is not in his plans for the 2016-2017 campaign, further to add to the same, the player was made to train with the reserves as the Portuguese manager wanted a close-knit squad to work with, further reports suggest that the Red Devils manager has even made the player empty his locker. This is considered as a serious insult by the player and his family.
