Manchester United have completed their fourth and last signing, however, there are still outgoings from the club have to see through and so far transfers are not over at the Old Trafford.
Paddy McNair has joined the fellow Premier league side Sunderland along with Donald Love in a combined fee of £6m. The Northern Irish defender has negotiated terms on a permanent deal at David Moyes’ side, although the Red Devils were initially holding out for a loan move only, and will become the latest addition to the club under the former United boss.
The 21-year-old, McNair, has made 27 appearances for the Red Devils since being given his debut by Louis Van Gaal in September 2014.
Further into the transfers, the Spanish club Villareal are keen on signing Juan Mata, as they look to bolster their front line. Mata has been informed that he does not have any role to play in Jose Mourinho’s plans next season and thus can leave United and Villarreal are eager, the No.8’s salary could prove tricky to negotiate. The Yellow Submarine, therefore are set to offer United a loan deal with a permanent option built in.
